Boyd Glass purchased Degenhart Glass in 1978. Boyd Glass is very collectible. Each time Boyd makes a new color, they only choose a few moulds (different items or animals) to run in that certain color. The item is only made ONCE in that color and will never be made in that color ever again, making each color a limited edition. Only a limited number are made and once that color sells out it is gone forever. There are more than 200 different moulds and 300 different colors formulated. Collectibles range from glass slippers to colonial dolls.  Also produced are covered salts, animals, figurines, and toothpick holders.  The Boyd's are known for the variety of unusual colors they create.

Jeremy the Frog is a wonderful collectible from Boyd Crystal Art Glass. 
The Jeremy series is limited to 30 colors and was officially retired in August 1998.  
A second series of 30 colors was started 2002. 
Two new Jeremy's have arrived, Holiday Magic and Meadow Green Carnival!
